hi, random internet person!

i, too, am a random internet person. but importantly though, i'm a game developer! sort of a jack of all trades, i've been cranking out little projects since i was a little goblin, and you cannot stop me. in all seriousness though, making games is very very important to me. my dream is to one day, when i'm real old, spend like a decade or more on an extremely polished rpg. i think making games is the best skill i have, and i truly do love it with all my heart so i'm going to give it my all! i've got a lot more to learn before i can make my masterpiece, but it's a journey i hope to find satisfaction and fulfillment in.

i also have other aspirations of being an artist, a composer, and a writer. it's definitely tied in with making games, but i also have interest in developing these skills to explore other mediums on the side. i'm currently practicing drawing through sketching and Drawabox (i'll make a page for it eventually)... i also looooooove pixel art but im trying to practice the "fundamentals" alongside it also. i haven't done much writing, basically everthing i've written that's actually meaningful to me is on this website (got a short story in the works!!! soonTM). i haven't really jumped into making music quite yet though.

other facts!!!!!!

about the name... basically way back in ~2016 i played a CRAP ton of .io games for some reason. i remember i was literally cracked at moomoo.io and could basically take over servers. i had this genius strategy where i played with two tabs at once... those were the days. but anyways, this was when i was trying to come up with a name for myself online, and i think i went through a bunch of different ones, eventually settling on NonGMOTrash. i didn't choose the name because i dislike GM foods or anything, i just thought it sounded funny, and i was also pretty self degrading at the time. there were a bunch of other names i tried out before settling on this... i distinctly remember one of them was "Qwark." that name sucks. i'm glad i went with NonGMOTrash instead, it's a lot more memorable. plus, it has good-ish search and discovery so that's a nice bonus.

did you know: i'm a bridget main in GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-!!!!!! never gonna switch. she's the best character for me cus she's cute and i wanna be cute. i'm currently the #...695th best brisket in the world. very impressive. however, i'm in training! for i have the power that no other fighting game player pocesses: the ability to actually enjoy the game. in all seriousness, i do actually plan to attend evo this year... actually drop the seriousness, i'm not serious. i'm fun.. so you better watch out!!!!
